Best Restaurants in Dillon Colorado
Mountain Dining - Where your atire doesn't have to match the quality of food

Dillon has many great options for getting a light or heavy, casual or more upscale dinner. Listed in order starting with more elevated down to most casual.

We live in a pretty casual area, so even the restaurants with nicer decor and elevated dishes don't have dress codes, nor will you be looked at funny by anyone anywhere if you walk in wearing shorts and flip flops or ski pants and boots for that matter.

*Bistro North

So much more than a great place for happy hour. If I had to choose a Dillon favorite it would probably be Bistro North! Bistro North offers a menu with a high level of creativity, seasonality , and quality. We've also always had amazing service whether seated at the bar, out on the patio, or in the restaurant.

**The Vue Rooftop

It really is all about those jaw dropping panoramic mountain and lake views, plus the food is wonderful too! I wouldn't suggest dining here if you are in a hurry. The service is fine, just slower paced than most others I've noted here. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but has been our experience every time.

*Saved By the Wine

Lighter fare and smaller portions, but trust me when I tell you they don't skimp on the quality. Offering up a small but intentional made from scratch menu that changes with the seasons and sometimes even more frequently. From charcuterie boards, small bites, fondues, soup, salads, croissants and wraps, pot pies, bowls, french inspired favorites and more! I can't forget to mention they have a full bar, so more than just wine, and also some insanely amazing fresh baked deserts.

*Red Mountain Grill

More than a great place for happy hour food and drink specials or to catch a game on TV, but also a wonderful casual place for dinner. Their offerings are a diverse array of American and southwestern favorites and everything we have ever tasted has hit the spot! Brick oven pizzas, soups and salads, entrees from the grill, burgers, hot sandwiches, tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, fish and chips, and more. Red Mountain Grill is located in a pretty eccentrically decorated building with super high ceilings large windows, and incredible decor. We don’t go out to eat all that often, but this is one of our regular spots when we do.

*Dillon Dam Brewery

An American-style restaurant and brewpub serving lunch and dinner with crave-able menu items and delicious DAM beers on tap! A full menu and they don’t skimp on portions. Serving up appetizers, salads, soups, burgers, pub favorites, pub dinners, desserts, and a full bar. A great place for families, large groups, or a casual date night.

*Dillon Thai

Their first location in Frisco was such a hit they decided to open a second location on the other side of the lake in Dillon. Traditional Thai appetizers like gyoza, spring rolls, fish cakes, and calamari,  soups, as well as crispy chicken wings. They also have a full menu of Thai mai dishes including noodle and rice dishes, stir fry’s, don’t forget curry! Casual atmosphere, but if it’s something ethnic you’re craving you can’t go wrong at Dillon Thai!

The Cala Inn

Located on the way to Keystone in the entrance of a neighborhood called Summit Cove. The Cala Inn is better than your average neighborhood Irish bar if you ask me, but I might be biased as this is my neighborhood pub. You order at the bar and your food is delivered to your table. They have a wonderful menu with many traditional Irish pub offerings, but I would say it’s elevated compared to the vast majority of Irish pubs I've visited. I’m always shocked at the quality of cuisine they are able to pump out of their tiny kitchen.

*Chimayo Grill

Locally owned and operated for over 27 years! Known for their grilled to order shrimp tacos and fried fish or cajun grilled fish fish tacos and burritos, as well as their home-made array of salsas and green chili. Order at the counter while you watch them create your plate of tacos, burrito, nachos, quesadilla, or taco salad. Chimayo has ample seating, or you can place your order to go. Their portions are generous and prices are extremely fair.

Last Chance Pizza / Cove and Craft

Located at the front of the same neighborhood as The Cala Inn, Last Chance Pizza and Cove and Craft are more or less 1 bar/restaurant. Once space is dedicated to service, and dining and the other is their dedicated kitchen. You will find plenty of seating, a full bar, and tasty casual menu including appetizers, pizzas, calzones, specialty grilled cheeses, and salads. This is my family's go to to get take-out for when life gets too busy and scattered to cook.

Casual, Date Night, Best Dinner Options in Dillon Colorado

Have a hankering for a steak? I highly recommend you take a quick 7-10 minute drive to Keystone and visit The Snake River Saloon. Established in 1975 before the Eisenhower tunnels were completed, not much has changed at 'The Snake' in 50 years. They are still serving up fresh baked bread with honey butter and delicious steakhouse meals and pasta dishes without the extra inflated resort area prices. We love their double bone in pork chop and steaks. I tend to be drawn towards their T-bone. In the mood for something delicious, but lighter? The bar also offers a menu with sandwiches, wings, pastas, and a few select entrees.
